We are in the midst of a student mental health crisis, with rising rates of suicidality among youth underscoring the urgency of expanding mental health supports within schools. This crisis has profound emotional consequences for students, families, and school communities while also imposing significant financial burdens on districts due to increased intervention needs, staff burnout, and disruptions to learning environments.

As challenges to equitable access persist in broader communities, schools have become the central hub for providing clinical mental health services.

This session will equip participants with the tools and insights to:

Utilize a Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework to address mental health needs.
Identify strengths and gaps in their existing school-based mental health ecosystem.
Explore sustainable funding strategies to expand their district’s mental health continuum effectively.
