About me
Dr. Blanca G. Cavazos retired as superintendent of the Taft Union High School District. She has been an educator at the elementary, secondary and university levels. Dr. Cavazos holds a BA in Liberal Studies, MA in Educational Administration and Bilingual Cross-cultural Education and an EdD in Educational Leadership. Her previous administrative roles include COE Chief Instructional Officer, Task Force Administrator, High School Principal, Assistant Principal of Instruction and Assistant Principal of Special Services. Dr. Cavazos has also served as adjunct lecturer for the Educational Administration, Secondary Education, Bilingual Cross-cultural Education and Modern Languages programs at California State University, Bakersfield. Her experience includes coaching administrators at the district, high school and elementary levels. She currently serves as Director-at-Large on the ACSA State Board of Directors. As a partner with Leadership Associates, she conducts both executive leadership searches and executive leadership development.
