Dr. Helen Wang is the CEO and co-founder of 6crickets Expanded Learning Management Solutions since 2014, with the mission of bringing the best enrichment to every student in every school. 6crickets has been awarded by the National Science Foundation for bringing modern technologies and innovative services to the out-of-school time. Helen is a renowned computer scientist. Prior to 6crickets, she founded and led the security and privacy research group at Microsoft Research for 14 years. She received a Gold Star award from Microsoft for developing and deploying novel technologies impacting millions of users. Helen had served on steering committees and program committees at top security and privacy international conferences, such as the Oakland conference, CCS, NDSS, and Usenix Security. She also mentored 30+ Ph.D. students during her tenure at Microsoft. Helen received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2001 (Go Bears!) and B.S. in Computer Science from UT Austin (Horns up!) in 1994.
