About me
Kate Vincent, LCSW (she/her), is a former special education director and child/youth therapist passionate about inclusive education. With Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Restorative Practices, and Applied Behavior Analysis certifications, she brings 15 years of public education experience to her role in K-12 out-of-school time leadership. Kate champions high-leverage practices prioritizing inclusion and belonging. An SEL enthusiast, inclusion advocate, restorative practices devotee, and beyond-the-bell aficionado, Kate holds Masters Degrees in Social Work and Educational Leadership and is finishing her Doctorate in Educational Policy. Her Dissertation research focuses on inclusive practices for high-quality out-of-school time programs. An avid runner, hiker, coffee drinker, and Swiftie, Kate resides in Denver, CO, with her husband and little dog, Ernesto.
