About me
Pam Bartfield is an educational leader with over two decades of dedicated service in the San Mateo-Foster City School District. She currently serves as the Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction for Elementary Schools, overseeing 18 TK-5 schools with a student population nearing 7,000. Her unwavering commitment to providing high-quality education through an equity lens is at the heart of her work. Pam collaborates with district leaders, site administrators, staff, and families within the SMFC community to achieve district goals in academics, equity, and student wellness. Over the last two years, Pam has showcased SMFC's successful early literacy work at prominent venues, including the All Title's Conference, CALSA, CALSPRA and ACSA, and co-hosted two Literacy Summits in San Mateo-Foster City. These presentations underscore her commitment to fostering early literacy and sharing effective practices with broader educational communities.
