About me
Dr. Tyisha J. Noise has served in urban communities on both coasts for over 20 years. She is a certificated school administrator with over a decade of experience teaching and leading in urban public and charter schools and an additional ten years in non-profit management with a focus on mental health and intervention for urban students and families.
Dr. Noise is a first- generation educator and emergent scholar. She is a product of urban public schools here in Los Angeles County and a child of the Crenshaw District community.
She has spent the last 10 years in greater Los Angeles as a teacher- leader and administrator and in the Watts and Crenshaw communities focused on supporting underserved students in discovering and maximizing their potential. She has extensive experience with administering restorative practices, trauma-sensitive and compassionate schooling & leadership, creating and facilitating academic and behavioral interventions and facilitating anti-racism work.
Dr. Noise knows the power of an educated mind and believes in the gifts and talents of every student and their family to make an impact in the world. She is the living embodiment of the promise of a great public education for all students and has dedicated her career to creating outcomes that defy statistics and create pathways to success for all students and their families. Now she seeks to share all tat she has learned on her near 25 year journey with others who serve in underserved or under-resourced communities or want to make change in their own field!
