Subject is a unique video-based platform designed exclusively for high school students, offering over 121 credit-bearing courses. As the only accredited platform of its kind, Subject prioritizes academic integrity, authentic and rigorous curriculum, and most crucially, student engagement. Incorporating the three main principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Subject's courses feature video micro-lessons, assignments, assessments, and educator insights and data tracking. The platform has met the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Level IV requirements, making it an evidence-based program. Subject's instructional method involves breaking down important concepts into small, focused segments and linking lessons to familiar cultural examples to foster long-term understanding. Moreover, Subject's courses are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and approved by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), with its curriculum aligned to NGSS and Common Core standards.
