Superintendents and school leaders know the value of having a qualified chief business official (CBO) who can think strategically about using resources to support the diversity of student and organizational needs. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of qualified CBOs, and especially, CBO’s with diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. Come and learn from statewide experts about what superintendents can do to support having a qualified, prepared CBO in their local education agency. Now is the time for superintendents and school leaders to think differently about the CBO position.
