About me
With 27 years in traditional public education, in districts from 2,000 to 40,000, Tom served in various Director, Assistant Supt and Associate Supt roles, largely in Student Services and Special Education, as well as Ed Services. In 2022, he decided to make the leap into the charter world as Superintendent of Great Valley Academies in Stanislaus county. A perfect fit for Tom, GVA is focused on character development, mastery learning and has innovative support systems for students both academically and social-emotionally. GVA has been voted Best Charter School in Modesto and believes wholly in the cycle of continuous learning and improvement.
